To recognize outstanding graduating high school seniors from selected Middle Georgia public high schools. To provide financial assistance to these graduates for study at accredited post-secondary institutions.

1. Each selected high school may nominate seniors from its current graduating class.
2. Applications must be submitted on the Diamonds On Our Minds Foundation application form. Photocopies are acceptable.
3. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
4. Applicants must submit a certified, sealed copy of their high school transcript.
5. Applicants must plan to enter an accredited post-secondary institution during the academic year immediately following graduation.
6. Each applicant must submit two letters of recommendation: one from the school principal and one from the counselor or academic dean.
7. Applicants must submit an essay of at least 250 words explaining why they deserve to receive this scholarship.

Applications must be received at the above address on or before the date indicated on the transmittal letter with all requested information enclosed to be considered for the scholarship.

The scholarship committee will determine winners through evaluation of each applicant on an evaluative scale. Each awardee will be presented with a scholarship check once the committee receive a letter of enrollment from the school in which they are attending.

Awards will be announced and presented at an appropriate program sponsored by the local chapter.
